Good fishing scenes, with a well-written narration which explains exactly what is going on and names all the various items of equipment. An excellent introduction for the layman. There are also good scenes of the catch being unloaded at Hull fish dock. (BBC Documentary).

A deckie learner is taught the rules of safety at sea, first in the classroom at college, then on board a Ross training ship. Plenty of visual interest, but the film is avowedly instructional, and unlike Deckie Learner (No 375) it stays fairly remote from its central character.
